Rev. Buzz King

I am ordained in the United Methodist Church).  I am the pastor of Louisville United Methodist of Louisville, CO. I am also a chaplain at Boulder Community Hospital.

I am a Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  I teach 3D modeling and animation.  My research has been supported by DARPA, the U.S. Navy, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Army, and IBM. 

I received my B.A. in Math from Occidental College and my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.  I am also a graduate of the seminary at the Iliff School of Theology. 

I grew up in Oxnard, California, and currently live in Boulder, Colorado.

I am married to Wendy, and have three kids: Martina, Isabelle, and Julien.

Dr. Timothy Burns

Tim Burns has served the LUMC community for 10 years as pianist, and more recently, as music director.

He graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a doctorate in collaborative piano in 2014, with additional graduate studies at Eastman and undergraduate studies at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

In addition to his work at LUMC, Tim serves as a Senior Instructor of Music and the Coordinator of Collaborative Piano at Colorado State University, where he frequently works with students, faculty, and guest artists in a variety of performance settings.
